Machining with Delrin
Delrin is a versatile homopolymer variant of polyoxymethylene (POM) that exhibits high strength, high hardness, a low coefficient of friction, and outstanding dimensional stability. Also known as acetal, polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde, this engineering thermoplastic is commonly used to produce products as diverse as gear wheels, ball bearings, fasteners, ski bindings, and eyeglass frames.
