Machining with Noryl
Noryl (or NORYL) is a family of amorphous, homogenous blends of polyphenylene ether (PPE) resins and polystyrene. These engineered plastics combine the high heat resistance, electrical insulation properties, and other beneficial properties of PPE resin with high dimensional stability and low density for enhanced performance in an array of applications. Offering a good balance of mechanical and chemical properties, Noryl is commonly used in electronics and electrical equipment, aircraft instrumentation, shafts, gear wheels, and other diverse products.
